I have been a clinician for over 10 years with experience in a multitude of areas. I have worked with mainly adults that have had difficulties with ongoing mental health issues and navigating the complexities of life. I work hard (with your help!) to meet your goals and I am here to support you in your counseling journey. My goal is to create an active partnership with you, working together to set meaningful goals and focus on what matters most, whether that's improving relationships, building self-esteem, or healing unresolved trauma. Through empathy, open communication, and practical strategies, we'll strengthen your coping skills and deepen your insights. Real change happens when you feel understood and supported. Through active listening and a non-judgmental, open space, I strive to understand your unique experiences with empathy and care. I provide practical tools you can use daily to manage challenges, build confidence, and feel empowered as you move toward your goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session will be relaxed, though I understand it can feel intimidating. My goal is to set you at ease. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing your background and what brought you to therapy. We'll also start building our therapeutic relationship and discuss goals you may already have in mind.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens with you feel genuinely seen, heard and supported. I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful tools for growth and healing. Clients often describe me as warm, personable and easy to talk to and open up with. I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly how you are-without judgement, pressure or the feeling that you have to have everything figured out. Therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical. I believe that humor, authenticity and genuine human connection can make even the most difficult conversation feel more approachable and manageable. What sets my approach apart is the balance between compassion and action. I deeply care about your well-being, your goals and the progress that you make throughout our work together. I take the time to understand your unique experiences, personality, challenges and strengths so that therapy feels personalized rather than one-size-fits-all. While I love to support you, I will also help you develop practical strategies that can create lasting change in your everyday life. I believe that no matter what you are going through, therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, supported enough to take risks and empowered enough to recognize your own strengths. I hope you will feel as though the work we do together is productive but also encouraging, genuine and sometimes fun along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with a client that is motivated for counseling and is willing to engage in the therapeutic process. I work with all different kinds of mental health concerns but ideally, I work well with clients navigating the difficulties of life. That means pretty much everything. I want a client to be comfortable opening up to me and discussing what they are going through and working with me to come up with collaborative goals to improve their overall well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a practical, engaging approach that helps you better understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Rather than simply talking about problems (which is important!), CBT focuses on building real-life skills that can help you navigate challenges both inside and outside of the therapy room. CBT is a collaborative, interactive and tailored to your unique experiences. Together we will explore unhelpful thought patters, identify behaviors that may keep you stuck and develop healthier ways of responding to life's stressors.
