New to Grow
Hello, nice to meet you! I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change—whether facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, substance use, or other complex challenges. Many seek clarity, stability, and relief when life feels unmanageable. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and use a collaborative, integrated approach, including evaluation, medication management when needed, and personalized strategies to help you regain balance and move forward with confidence.
During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where your concerns, experiences, and goals are taken seriously. This initial appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we will discuss your current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, medications, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatment experiences to better understand your unique needs. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic support, lifestyle recommendations, and practical next steps to help you move toward improved mental wellness.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care that treats the whole person—not just symptoms. I integrate medication management with therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic principles, and trauma-informed care to create personalized treatment plans that support lasting emotional wellness. My focus is on building a trusting, collaborative relationship where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to achieve meaningful, sustainable improvement in their mental health.
I work best with adolescents and adults seeking support for ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and a wide range of other mental health concerns who are ready to engage in a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment process. My practice is a strong fit for individuals looking for personalized care, substance abuse treatment, medication management when appropriate, and therapeutic support focused on emotional wellness, resilience, and meaningful life improvement. Those experiencing severe psychiatric instability, active crisis situations, or needing specialized higher levels of care—such as inpatient treatment, or emergency psychiatric services—may benefit from providers or settings designed to offer more immediate or intensive support.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how those thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through practical, goal-oriented techniques, I support patients in challenging negative beliefs, improving emotional regulation, and building lasting skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stress. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing impulsive behaviors, and improving relationships. Through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness techniques, I support patients in building resilience and creating healthier responses to life’s challenges. My approach is structured, compassionate, and tailored to each patient’s goals.
Motivational Interviewing
short sentences I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their goals, resolve ambivalence, and strengthen their own motivation for positive change. Through a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach, I guide patients in identifying personal values, building confidence, and making meaningful decisions about their mental health and overall well-being. My focus is on empowering each individual to take an active role in their treatment journey
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and relationship dynamics may influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By increasing self-awareness and insight, I support patients in understanding the root causes of emotional distress and developing healthier ways of coping and relating to others. My approach is thoughtful, individualized, and focused on lasting emotional growth.
Trauma Informed Care
I use trauma-informed care to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered and respected throughout treatment. By recognizing the impact of trauma on mental, emotional, and physical health, I tailor care to promote safety, trust, collaboration, and resilience while avoiding re-traumatization. My approach focuses on healing, strengthening coping skills, and supporting each patient’s path toward recovery.
