Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I'm Jason, I've been married to my wife for 15 years, have two wonderful kids, and am a follower of Christ. My interest in mental health began while in the U.S. Navy (2000-2006) where I served as a Hospital Corpsman (battlefield medic) with 2nd Marine Division. Following the military, I went to college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine. Having just started a young family, I decided that the traditional route of a spending a decade pursuing medicine, most of the hours away from family, was just not ideal and I turned to the field of nursing. After graduating Nursing School I worked in a local emergency room before transferring to the Cleveland VA Medical Center. While working full time, I was able to go to graduate school, and still spend time with my wife and son. Looking back, my journey to this point took over 8 years of higher learning, many long hours with a lot of stress, but it was worth every minute. The nursing approach to mental healthcare offers comprehensive, compassionate, and empathetic relationships that extend far beyond traditional models. Thanks for taking the time to hear my story. I am committed to helping those in need of mental health services.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach to mental health is laid back. After connecting on the virtual platform, we will confirm demographic information and get to know each other. I encourage clients to speak freely, but only what they feel comfortable talking about. For purposes of medication management, there will be questions asked in determining the best treatment plan, however, I respect your privacy, timing, and discretion.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Empathetic listening, professional, and confidential, using evidence based treatment. Results driven. Your mental health is my priority.
