New to Grow
You live most of your life inside your head. Make sure it's a nice place to be. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered care, where you are the expert on your own life, and I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you explore your experiences, strengths, and goals. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply seeking personal growth, we'll work as a team to build practical strategies that empower you to move forward with confidence.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, build a comfortable and supportive connection, and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify your needs, discuss your concerns, and create personalized goals that support your growth, healing, and overall well-being.
My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered care, where you are the expert on your own life, and I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to help you explore your experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe meaningful progress in therapy comes from a shared commitment between the client and therapist. Together, we will identify areas for growth and create realistic steps toward meaningful change. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I practice active listening and make space for each client to feel heard, understood, and respected.
I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and the people they care about. My ideal clients are individuals navigating depression, anxiety, perinatal and postpartum challenges, relationship concerns, or difficult life transitions who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I especially enjoy supporting individuals as they develop practical coping skills, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and learn healthier ways to manage difficult emotions and stress. For those experiencing perinatal or postpartum depression and anxiety, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to process the many emotional changes that can come with pregnancy, parenthood, and adjusting to a new identity and role.
CBT helps us understand how the way we think about a situation can affect how we feel and how we respond. For example, when we are struggling with anxiety or depression, our thoughts can sometimes become negative or unhelpful without us even realizing it. CBT helps you identify these thought patterns, look at whether they are accurate or helpful, and learn new ways of thinking and responding.
Person-centered therapy is about meeting you where you are and working together to understand what you need. I listen with empathy, respect your experiences, and help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals at your own pace.
