Finding joy in times of high stress and uncertainty can be a challenge. As your counselor, I plan to encourage you to find your inner joy and peace. I have worked in the community mental health field for the last 10 years as I enjoy the challenge of helping others grow and better themselves.
My first session is structured to understand your unique needs and concerns as well as introduce myself and style of counseling.
I specialize in helping adults by using a strengths-based approach with your unique concerns in mind. I have experience working with extensive trauma including individuals grieving and military service members. I have also worked at an inpatient psychiatric unit and have experience assisting crisis symptoms such as suicidal and homicidal thoughts. I hope to be a positive light in your life. I will always bring a kind and warm attitude to help create a safe environment for your growth.
My biggest strength is my non-judgmental and loving attitude. I have worked with such a wide range of individuals that I think my compassion for others sets me apart from other therapists.
I am focused on a wide range of individuals struggling with typical life stressors, grief, and any diagnosed mental illness.
