Hello! My name is Lori, and I am an ANCC/Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am licensed in Georgia, New York, Florida, and Nevada, with nearly 18 years of critical care nursing experience prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. For the past several years, I have specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD across the lifespan. I also treat individuals with mood disorders, obsessions/compulsions, and anxiety disorders. My practice is centered on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and evidence-based medication management. Many clients find that this care works best when paired with ongoing therapy, and I value collaboration with a client’s therapist or counseling provider when additional support is needed. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, structure, and confidence in their daily lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, I take the time to really listen to your story. Together, we will review your challenges, strengths, and goals. I believe in creating a collaborative plan where you feel empowered to take an active role in your treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I specialize in treating you and not just your diagnosis. I place a strong emphasis on: Meeting you exactly where you are. Thorough assessments to clarify diagnosis and needs. Evidence-based medication management tailored to each client. Practical strategies and psychoeducation for daily life and long-term success. Empathy and understanding, ensuring clients feel heard, respected, and supported. My clients often tell me that they appreciate my ability to explain their diagnosis in ways that make sense, and my dedication to helping them feel capable and confident in managing their symptoms.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is motivated for meaningful change and willing to take an active role in their personal growth. They value accountability, self-reflection, and are open to learning new ways of thinking, coping, and living. This individual understands that transformation is a process—not a quick fix—and is committed to improving their overall quality of life emotionally, mentally, and functionally.

I haven't been seeing Lori for a couple of years now and hands down without her. I would be in a very dark place and a very unhealthy place and I would lose all of my loved ones. She has brought stability to my life that is invaluable

Lori has been exceptional in my journey as I navigate through my mental health. Speaking with her always provides clarity on what future steps I can take to ensure I am doing my very best to show up for myself. I can’t imagine doing this walk without her warm presence and high level of expertise. I don’t desire to work with anyone else.
