(she/her)
I’m a therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and mood-related challenges. I aim to create a space that feels warm, steady, and real—where you can show up as you are and feel supported without judgment. Clients often share that they feel comfortable opening up with me and that our work feels both supportive and honest. I believe a strong, trusting connection is the foundation for meaningful change and healing. My approach is collaborative and flexible. I meet you where you are and work alongside you to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with your sense of resilience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), mindfulness, and somatic approaches, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.
My goal in our first session is to help you feel safe, supported, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. During our time together, we’ll get to know one another and talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from the process. I’ll also explain how I work, including the flow of sessions, confidentiality, and what you can expect moving forward, so you feel informed and supported from the very beginning. We may begin to explore parts of your personal history, current stressors, relationships, emotional experiences, trauma, substance use, or significant life events that feel important to you. There is never pressure to share more than you’re ready for, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Together, we’ll begin to understand the patterns, challenges, and strengths that are shaping your current experience—whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, feeling stuck, or overwhelmed. By the end of the session, we’ll start identifying goals and intentions for therapy and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your healing, growth, and overall well-being.
Feedback I often receive from clients is that they feel comfortable, understood, emotionally safe, and able to be fully themselves in our work together. One of my greatest strengths as a therapist lies in my ability to listen deeply and with presence, creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard and seen. My approach is grounded in compassion and non-judgment, allowing my clients to explore even their most vulnerable experiences without fear of criticism or shame. I believe building trust through a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful healing and growth. While I hold space with empathy, I also gently challenge my clients to move toward growth. I believe healing involves not only understanding our struggles, but also developing the tools to navigate them. I support clients in identifying patterns, building awareness, and cultivating coping strategies that are both practical and sustainable.
I work with adults (18+) including men, women, and young adults navigating a range of emotional, relational, and life-stage challenges. My clients often come to therapy seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I provide a supportive, collaborative space to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful and lasting change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, depression, and addiction. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative, blending traditional talk therapy with somatic techniques such as breathwork, grounding, and body awareness to help regulate the nervous system and foster emotional connection. Using evidence-based methods like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT ( Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) , Energy work including EFT ( Emotional Freedom Technique- tapping) , and mindfulness practices, I tailor treatment to meet each client's unique needs. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, unprocessed trauma, or addiction, I provide a supportive space to explore challenges, gain insight, and develop practical tools for healing.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I have been trained to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as a practical and effective tool to help my clients release emotional distress, reduce stress, and address unresolved issues or limiting beliefs. EFT involves tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on the emotional or physical issue at hand.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
In my practice I may integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, helping clients understand that the mind is not a single, unified voice, but a system of distinct “parts,” each with its own perspective, role, and intention. Many of these parts develop in response to past experiences—especially trauma—and, over time, can become rigid or maladaptive in their efforts to protect the individual. In our work together, I help clients identify and build relationships with these internal parts, particularly those that carry pain, fear, or protective strategies such as avoidance, perfectionism, or self-criticism. Rather than pathologizing these responses, we approach them with curiosity and compassion, recognizing that each part has served a purpose in helping to protect the client as they have navigated difficult circumstances. Over time, this process fosters greater internal harmony, emotional regulation, and self-leadership. My clients often experience reduced reactivity, increased resilience, and a deeper sense of integration, enabling them to move forward with more flexibility, authenticity, and well-being in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an approach I use to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In our work together, we identify core beliefs—often shaped by earlier life experiences—that may be influencing how you see yourself, others, and the world. Sometimes these beliefs can become rigid or negative, contributing to patterns of distress or limiting how you move through your life. In session, I help you recognize these maladaptive thought patterns as they arise, gently question their accuracy, and explore alternative, more balanced perspectives. This process is collaborative and practical, often involving real-life examples and tools you can apply outside of sessions. Over time, CBT can help you develop greater awareness of your inner dialogue, shift unhelpful beliefs, and build healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and responding—leading to improved mood, increased confidence, and a stronger sense of control in your life.
