The process of finding a therapist can be overwhelming and you may feel nervous or uncertain, and that is okay. I am happy to walk you through the process and to answer any questions you may have. In our first session together, we will do introductions, go over some of you history and reasons for seeking therapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience. My perspective comes from a combined experience as a Clinical Therapist and from working as a health educator. I understand how personal experiences, past and present can impact ones emotional health and overall well-being. I am dedicated to journey with you through this process and look forward to connecting with you.

I provide individual counseling services for adults with a client-centered approach and treatment plan. I specialize in Stress Management, Self Esteem, Chronic illness and Grief and Loss. Whether you are dealing with symptoms of depression or anxiety, work stressors or life events, I desire to provide support, healing and empowerment through this process.

Humanistic

By creating a safe and non-judgemental space, my goal is to encourage clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, values, and aspirations, and develop a healthy sense of self.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT therapy can help identify and change negative thought patterns, which can improve clients mood and quality of life. CBT can improve coping strategies, manage emotions and learn how to respond to stressful situations in a more positive way.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

The therapist provides empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to accept the client without judgment. Person-centered therapy can help clients feel more in control of their mental health. 
It can help clients become more aware of their self-worth.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

The therapist recognizes a person’s culture as an essential part of their identity and understanding how this affects their mental health experiences. Culturally sensitive therapists strive to create a safe space for all clients, regardless of ethnic background or beliefs.
