Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State, and have been practicing for three years. I earned a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College in 2014, and have over 20 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families make positive change and take control of their lives. I’m committed to supporting and empowering my clients as they gain knowledge, boost self-esteem, and master skills to live healthy, fulfilling, purposeful lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I truly believe that you have the answers and want to empower you to find the solutions that best work to help you live your best life. My role is to help you uncover your own power and support you on your unique life journey! Many clients tell me they feel more ready and able to handle their everyday life after therapy, and confident that they will be able to face new challenges with strong coping skills and sense of self to guide them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With over 20 years experience, I’m committed to supporting and empowering children, adolescents, and adults as they gain knowledge, boost self-esteem, and master skills to live healthy, fulfilling, purposeful lives.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I firmly believe that you have the answers. My role is to be your partner and help you discover what real change will look and feel like, and teach you skills you can use on your individual path towards a happier future.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions can help you take back control and learn to regulate your emotions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT skill building can be empowering, and focuses on mindfulness, interpersonal skills, distress tolerance and emotional regulation.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I love using scaling questions to help us measure change, and get a better idea of what change will look and feel like for you.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

PCIT can be a game changer for dysregulated kids and can bring hope to parents who can't figure out why their child is out of control. I love seeing it in action and being a coach as parents learn to be their child's play therapist!
