New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, but still feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or know how to change. My approach is relational, collaborative, and tailored to you. I integrate EMDR and parts-based work to help clients better understand themselves, process meaningful experiences, and feel more grounded in how they move through their lives. Together, we’ll focus on making sense of what’s coming up for you - both in the present and beneath the surface - so that change feels more natural, sustainable, and aligned with who you are.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you in. You don’t need to have everything figured out - I’ll ask some questions to understand your goals, history, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative, and begin to get a sense of what working together might look like.
My approach is relational, thoughtful, and tailored to each person I work with. I’m trained in EMDR and use parts work (IFS-informed), mindfulness, and practical tools to help clients both understand themselves and make real changes in their lives. Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood in our work, while also being gently challenged to look at things in new ways. I focus on helping you make sense of patterns, especially in relationships and how you relate to yourself, so that change feels more natural and sustainable over time.
I work best with adults and young adults who are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and reflective, but still feel stuck or overwhelmed by patterns they can’t quite shift on their own. They’re often looking for more clarity, emotional grounding, and a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, and are open to exploring both present challenges and underlying patterns over time.
EMDR
I’m trained in EMDR and use it to help clients process experiences that continue to feel emotionally charged or stuck. We move at a pace that feels manageable, and EMDR is always integrated into a broader, supportive therapeutic relationship. Not every session is EMDR-based; sometimes we focus on building resources and stability before doing deeper processing work.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approach to help clients understand different “parts” of themselves - like the part that feels anxious, self-critical, or overwhelmed. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we work to understand their role and develop a more compassionate, balanced relationship with them. This can help reduce internal conflict and create a greater sense of clarity and self-trust.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This might include identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, developing practical coping strategies, and experimenting with new ways of responding to stress or anxiety in everyday life.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is woven into my work to help clients slow down, become more aware of their internal experiences, and respond to themselves with greater intention. This can include grounding techniques, body awareness, and learning how to observe thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them.
