My name is Charlie, I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field in varying settings and diverse populations. I am committed to helping folks find the healing they need. Over the last 11 years, I've been shaped by my work in residential treatment, crisis intervention, outpatient clinics, community-based and school-based mental health. In our time together, I will use an eclectic approach and draw on multiple theories and modalities to suit your needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will spend time getting to know you, your background and what challenges you’ve been facing. We will discuss your specific goals for treatment and form a plan to get you where you want to be! During this process you can expect that I will bring warmth, understanding, authenticity, presence and humor.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a therapist is my unwavering hope in your ability to heal. I believe there’s a way out and a way through. I believe in a better reality for you. That being said, I am also aware of my limitations! If I can’t be the one to help you, we will work together to find you someone who can.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am a generalist who works with individuals, couples and families who are ready to make positive changes in their lives. Some special populations of interest are millennial men, young professionals, healthcare workers, survivors of trauma/abuse, and those who are deconstructing from organized religion.
