About me

With more than 20 years of experience as a therapist, I offer warm, professional support for adolescents and adults. I provide a space where you can feel heard, respected, and understood as we explore life’s emotional and relationship challenges together. Our first session is a chance to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore what feels most important, your goals, and how I work. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. Together, we can decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I support people navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, life transitions, and feeling emotionally stuck. I work with people from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. I recognize that identity, relationships, environment, strengths, and barriers all shape your experience. My approach is respectful, curious, and nonjudgmental. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest feedback with care. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I help you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them control your life. Together, we identify what matters most to you and practice taking meaningful steps in that direction, even when discomfort is present. Rather than trying to eliminate negative thoughts, I help you view them as passing mental experiences—not absolute truths—so you can respond with greater flexibility and live more in line with your values.

Integrative

In integrative therapy, I draw from different therapeutic approaches and tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, personality, and circumstances. Together, we may combine techniques to address your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and past experiences, creating a flexible and personalized approach that supports meaningful, lasting change.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

In culturally responsive therapy, I recognize and respect how your culture, identity, values, family, community, and life experiences shape your well-being. I work with you to create a supportive space where your perspective is heard and honored, while tailoring our approach to fit your background, beliefs, and goals.
