I am a seasoned provider with experience living and working in different countries and with diverse populations. I am an advocate for patients to ensure needs and concerns are addressed in a prompt courteous and respectful manner. I provide quality care and am very attentive to the needs of clients for timely medication refills, accommodating appointments and therapeutic interventions when needed. I am here to address your needs.
I am best positioned to serve clients in need of a compassionate, empathic, and supportive provider. Anxious, depressed, multicultural diverse young and mature adults with gender concerns who are seeking a nonjudgemental provider. Clients who are experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, and general fears of life's journey. Individuals who are experiencing depression, and who lack the desire, motivation, and ability to thrive and welcome to explore initial care with pharmacotherapy (medication) in combination with psychotherapy.
For the past 4 years, I've achieved great success in managing patients with mental health problems through psychopharmacological therapy and an adjunct treatment with a supportive psychotherapy regimen. My behavioral health clinical practice utilizes a combination of treatment options to optimize therapeutic approaches for wrap-around services. These approaches have been shown to benefit clients with acute illness as well as those who have chronic mental health problems.
My professional career as an advance practice provider incorporates expanded experience in primary care for more than 15 years and the last 4 years focused on mental health. I utilize a compassionate Motivational Interviewing style counseling with medication management. This enables the provider to implement client-centered approaches while allowing client's the freedom to participate through a collaborative process that is supported by active listening and empathy in a nonjudgemental environment. This style is tailored to the client's needs, progression and evaluation of outcomes.
