Hi! My name is Tameer and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My doctoral dissertation explored the relationship between employee burnout and trauma-informed care. My clinical focus consists of working with adults coping with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties; family conflict, work burnout, adjustment to major life transitions; and integration of their marginalized identity(ies) (e.g., LGBTQ+; racial/ethnic minorities; SES disparities) with their whole person. I consider all my clients to be more than just another name, or an appointment. Therapy can be a transformative healing experience, and I strive to treat it as such, with deep compassion, non-judgment, and empathic attunement. It’s my goal to offer practical resources that clients can put into practice immediately in their lives. I use both modern approaches and tried and true methods to fit each client’s individual needs. Everyone can achieve more personal growth and strength, and it’s an honor to work on that together.
