Christina Fals
I am Christina, a bilingual LCSW offering warm, culturally affirming virtual therapy. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationships, life transitions, and identity, with a special focus on Latino/a, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ communities.
Many of my clients identify as Latino/a/x, multicultural, or queer, seeking a therapist who truly understands the intersection of culture, identity, and emotional well-being.
I especially support Latino/a, multicultural, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent clients, including teens, young adults, professionals, caregivers, and people navigating cultural identity, family expectations, relationships, and major life changes.
First session
Our first session is a space for you to share your story at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to change or understand, and what you need to feel supported. I’ll ask some background questions to get to know you better — your experiences, values, and the parts of your identity that shape who you are. I approach every session with cultural humility and respect for the unique intersections of your identity, including race, culture, language, gender, and sexuality. Whether you identify as LGBTQ+, multicultural, or are navigating questions of belonging, this is a space where all parts of you are welcome. By the end of our first session, we’ll identify your goals and start building a plan that feels collaborative, affirming, and grounded in your lived experience
Strengths
With over 15 years of mental health experience, I bring a warm, down-to-earth, culturally responsive approach to therapy. I bring a collaborative, strengths-based, and practical approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so we work together to identify your goals, understand patterns, and find strategies that fit your needs. I also believe therapy goes beyond talking. I often incorporate videos, worksheets, psychoeducation, coping tools, and other resources you can use between sessions. Whether we’re working on anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationships, boundaries, or emotional regulation, I want you to leave therapy with tools you can actually apply in your everyday life. ¡Se habla español!
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives — even if they’re not sure where to start. They may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, yet still hold a quiet hope that things can get better. Many are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or the effects of stress, trauma, or burnout. I work with older children and teens (ages 8–17) who are struggling with emotional regulation, school stress, or family conflict, as well as young adults and professionals in their 20s–40s learning to balance independence, self-discovery, and belonging. My clients often describe feeling like they’re carrying the weight of multiple identities — Latino/a/x, multicultural, bilingual, or queer — and want a therapist who truly understands their lived experiences.
