I'm Maggie, a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience in my field. With a person-centered approach, I focus on empowering you to navigate life's complexities. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or looking for greater clarity in your life, I'm here to work alongside you. Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My process always starts with an introduction session to you and the path that has gotten you to me. Through this, we will identify what your hopes are for therapy. My goal is to create a space that is non judgemental and inviting so we can best work together to make your goals a reality.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients often say they feel better after we meet. I have built a reputation of being an "engaging" "thorough" and "helpful" therapist. In addition to anxiety, I have worked with those experiencing grief, depression, trauma, and more. Given my professional experience, I feel prepared to help you through this time.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I often practice with a strengths based approach because I believe so far in your life, you have managed to conquer your hardest days. Together we can hone your internal resourcefulness.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person centered therapy is a method I often use because I believe that you are the expert on your own life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

During my undergraduate program, I participated in an extensive year-long education plan to grow my skills in this method. I think the skill of being mindful and aware transfers into most of my therapy sessions. have been practicing mindfulness based therapy for over 10 years.

Grief Therapy

I originally started my career working with people who were navigating the complexities of grief. I feel honored to hold therapeutic space for those on this complex journey.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing as a tool to work through feelings of depression, anxiety, or instances of procrastination.
