Hi, I’m Cameda. I help adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted find clarity, relief, and direction again. My style is warm, grounded, and straightforward. I create a space where you can be honest, breathe, and feel supported without judgment. I bring over a decade of experience in trauma-informed care, crisis work, community mental health, and dual-diagnosis treatment. I’m committed to culturally responsive care and helping you build the tools you need to heal, grow, and feel more in control of your life.”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I take a person-centered and structured approach. We’ll review what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and the goals you want to focus on. I’ll ask targeted questions about your history, symptoms, and stressors so I can get a clear understanding of your needs. You can share at your own pace, and I will never pressure you to disclose more than you’re ready for. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of the plan, what our work together will look like, and the next steps moving forward.”

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include my ability to quickly assess what a client needs, provide structure while still being person-centered, and create a therapeutic space that feels grounded, culturally responsive, and practical. I bring extensive experience from crisis residential work, community mental health, and trauma-informed care, which allows me to support clients through complex stressors with clarity and stability. I’m direct when needed, gentle when appropriate, and always focused on helping clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.”

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in cycles they’re ready to break. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are strong, high-functioning people who carry a lot on their own and are finally ready for a space where they don’t have to. I especially enjoy working with individuals who value honesty, growth, and culturally responsive care. If you’re motivated to heal, open to gaining insight, and ready to learn skills that help you feel more grounded and in control, we’ll be a great fit.”

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate several evidence-based treatment methods in my work, including CBT, DBT-informed strategies, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. I use these methods to help clients understand their thoughts and emotions, build emotional regulation and coping skills, improve communication and boundaries, and make practical changes that support long-term healing. My approach is warm, collaborative, and structured, and I always tailor the treatment method to the client’s unique needs—whether we are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD-related challenges, or major life transitions.”
