Do you feel like you've lost HOPE?! Do you often feel like what's the point? Do you feel like you are just surviving? HOPE! HOPE; noun; 1 - A feeling or expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. 2 - A feeling of trust HOPE; Verb; Example: - I HOPE therapy helps me and I HOPE I learn the skills I need to move through this experience. I truly believe as a therapist that hope is the catalyst for change. Hope propels us to keep trying. When we feel stuck due to trauma holding us back, our thought distortions, or our self-sabotaging! HOPE still is present and propelling us to move forward. I am a firm believer that all mental health disorders' root cause is trauma. This has been widely researched and confirmed. My goal is for us to meet the goals you have for yourself. We will do this by identifying healthy coping skills, becoming aware of the thought distortions we are experiencing, and be able to identify AND work through triggers. I believe in acknowledging generational curses. Trauma is passed down from generation to generation until a cycle breaker comes along who is willing to put in the hard work to heal themselves and prevent inflicting any more damage to themselves and the future generations to come. I can promise you this work is not easy, life is not easy, we have to pick our hard. Staying where you are is also, HARD. Your healing will be worth it! You are worth it! There is HOPE for a better future for yourself. My open environment will serve as a safe space for your to process and move through life's challenges. Let me work alongside you to offer an empathetic, genuine, empowering, and encouraging experience. LETS WORK!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will go over a few policies, move quickly to brief introductions, go over what you submitted on your intake form, discuss customized "homework" that will be starting in the upcoming weeks we work together based on the specific dynamics of your life each week. We will work together to create custom goals tailored to you. And we will continue to work together collaboratively the entire time we are within a therapeutic bond.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have worked with a magnitude of of complex dual diagnosis patients when I was working at the psychiatric hospital. I have also worked within discharge planning settings, as well as in home settings, I have worked with all ages and genders. I am looking forward to continuing my work and education as a trauma therapist. A few mental health disorders I am very familiar with are below: Adjustment Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Acute Stress, Psychosis, Grief, PTSD, Complex Trauma, Complex Grief, Substance Abuse, and Mood Adjustment Disorder. At this time I do not offer therapy for extreme psychosis, couples, and active suicidal clients with a plan. As I feel they truly would benefit from in person services. I have chosen this line of work and with that comes career long learning. I am willing to research and look into other diagnosis and other approaches. I am also able to admit if I am not able to help you and think you would benefit from a different therapist with more experience in a certain area. Truly, all I want for you is to find the support and resources you need. And if it is not with me, that is okay! As long as you keep trying.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better manage challenges by exploring and shifting patterns in both thought and behavior. Together, we will identify core beliefs, cognitive distortions, and limiting narratives that may be impacting your well-being. Through this process, you’ll build awareness of these patterns and develop a more compassionate relationship with them, creating space for meaningful healing and lasting change and shift you to a new reality.

EMDR

Great for PTSD: I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR involves briefly focusing on distressing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements), which can help reduce the emotional intensity and vividness of those memories over time. Before beginning EMDR, we will take time to build a strong therapeutic relationship and ensure you feel fully informed and prepared through thoughtful education about the process. My goal is for you to feel empowered, supported, and confident as we move into this work together. As a clinician who has both personally experienced EMDR and is certified in its use, I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, secure, and deeply supported while working through deeply rooted and impactful life experiences. This therapeutic modality provides life long healing.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based approaches to support you in developing a more grounded, balanced, and present way of being. This work invites you to gently observe your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment, while building a deeper sense of self-awareness and compassion. Together, we will practice staying present and connected, helping you respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, intention, and emotional regulation. Mindfulness can be especially supportive in managing anxiety, mood fluctuations, and depression, while also promoting long-term healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

Compassion Focused

I incorporate compassion-focused therapy to support individuals who struggle with shame, self-criticism, and feelings of unworthiness, often rooted in early life experiences such as abuse or neglect. This approach helps you develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with yourself. Together, we will create a safe, empathetic space where you can begin to gently explore and process deep-rooted insecurities and patterns of shame. Through this work, you’ll cultivate self-compassion, emotional resilience, and a greater sense of inner safety, allowing for meaningful healing and lasting change.

Grief Therapy

I offer grief therapy to support individuals navigating the emotional pain and complexity of loss. Grief can arise from the death of a loved one, as well as from other significant life changes such as relationship endings, health transitions, or unmet life expectations. In our work together, we will create a safe and compassionate space where your grief is honored without judgment or pressure to “move on” before you are ready. I will support you in gently processing your emotions, making meaning of your loss, and learning how to carry your grief in a way that allows for continued connection, healing, and integration into your life.

I’ve been working with Marion for EMDR therapy, and I can’t say enough about the positive impact she’s had on my healing journey. She’s incredibly supportive, compassionate, and truly skilled at knowing when I need a little extra care. Her ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space has made it easier for me to process difficult experiences, and I always leave our sessions feeling heard and grounded. I’m very grateful to have found such a dedicated and intuitive therapist.
