LMFT, 25 years of experience
Beginning therapy is a big step and can feel intimidating. I congratulate you for taking this step and look forward to supporting you in your healing. In my practice, I specialize in working with adults and older adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, grief and the complex challenges that life transitions can bring. I am excited to help you navigate this journey when you are ready and would look to provide you a supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you reach your goals.
Our first session is where we begin to get to know each other. We will discuss your background and what you are looking to achieve in our work together. As you progress, we will continue to build on our work together. If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I’d be honored to support you along the way.
My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental. I’m committed to creating an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the changes you’re seeking. I integrate evidence-based approaches with a deep respect for your unique story, cultural background, and personal values. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you move forward.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression or symptoms of trauma? I work with adults and older adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, loss and grief. Together we will develop a plan to help you overcome these difficulties and increase your confidence in managing these symptoms.
As a therapist, I use CBT to help clients identify negative thought patterns and their connection to emotions and behaviors. We work together to challenge distorted thinking, develop coping strategies, and practice new behavioral responses. I assign homework exercises and use structured techniques to create measurable, lasting change in daily functioning.
As a therapist, I help clients identify their internal “parts” - like the inner critic, protector, or wounded child. We explore how these parts interact and sometimes conflict. I guide clients to access their core “Self” - the calm, curious leader within - to heal wounded parts and create internal harmony and integration.
As a therapist, I focus on the body’s role in storing trauma and emotion. I guide clients to notice physical sensations, breathing patterns, and tension. Through breathwork, and body awareness exercises, we release trapped trauma from the nervous system, helping clients regulate emotions and reconnect with their embodied wisdom.
