Are you feeling "stuck" in your current life situation? Have you recently changed careers or has your relationship status changed? Are you a new mom carrying the weight of her family while attempting to rediscover your purpose in life? Do you struggle with feeling overwhelmed by the stress of daily tasks? Or do you struggle with boundaries in relationships or having healthy relationships in general? Hi! My name is Holly Garmon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I empower adult women to have healthier relationships by overcoming barriers that stand in the way of their self-esteem and outlook in life. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I am very client centered - I believe that the Client is the expert in their life and I come alongside more as a guide verses a director. I offer empathic and reflective listening as well as observations. My desire is for you to be thriving and if that is not happening, let's take a look and see what areas are not serving you best.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I specialize in women and issues surrounding most every woman - we are amazing creatures and we carry the weight of so many things - our families, children, friends, career, etc. When you come to therapy with me you can take those hats off and just be yourself - judgement free. We can navigate the stressors of everyday life and figure out the best approach to get you to a place of thriving.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best served to see adult women dealing with life transitions, self esteem issues, relationship changes, every day stressors, and any issues involving prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to support women with anxiety because it is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors contributing to their distress. CBT empowers women to develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in managing anxiety-provoking situations. Its collaborative nature also fosters a strong therapeutic alliance and encourages clients to take an active role in their healing process.

Christian Counseling

At a client’s request, I integrate Christian counseling into my practice to help empower women by aligning therapeutic goals with their faith and values. This approach supports clients in finding strength, purpose, and healing through a spiritual lens, while addressing emotional and psychological needs. In an all-women practice, Christian counseling can offer a deeply affirming and holistic path to growth, resilience, and self-worth grounded in her belief system.
