What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will set up weekly counseling and adjust how often I see you based on your progress made in counseling. If you are an adult we will be doing more talk therapy, person centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy operates on the humanistic belief that the client is inherently driven toward and has the capacity for growth and self-actualization; it relies on this force for therapeutic change. The role of the counselor is to provide a nonjudgmental environment conducive to honest self-exploration.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression and anxiety disorders.

Narrative therapy is a form of psychotherapy that seeks to help patients identify their values and the skills associated with them. It provides the patient with knowledge of their ability to live these values so they can effectively confront current and future problems.
