What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to be heard and understood in a non-judgmental environment. They will be welcomed into a safe and supportive space designed to foster growth and self-discovery. Together, we will address challenges in a way that promotes healing and empowers clients to move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is bringing a non-judgmental approach rooted in my many lived experiences. This perspective allows me to connect with clients on a deeper level and create a safe, understanding space. Another strength is my ability to empathize and show compassion, even in the most challenging situations, supporting clients as they navigate their unique journeys toward healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into practice, by helping clients identify and understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Using techniques such as cognitive restructuring to challenge and reframe negative or distorted thinking patterns. Introducing behavioral strategies, like exposure therapy or activity scheduling, to encourage positive behavioral changes. Often utilizing homework assignments to reinforce skills learned during sessions, and tailor interventions to the client’s specific goals and needs. Consistently monitoring progress and adapting techniques to ensure effective outcomes.

Psychodynamic

I incorporate psychodynamic therapy into my practice, by focusing on exploring clients’ unconscious processes and how their past experiences influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is my goal to create a safe and empathetic environment to encourage open expression and self-reflection. I often use techniques such as free association, interpretation of transference and resistance, and exploration of recurring patterns in relationships. This is in an effort to help clients gain insight into unresolved conflicts and underlying motivations to foster emotional growth and self-awareness. Gradually guiding them toward integrating these insights into their everyday lives.

Strength-Based

I incorporate strength-based therapy into my practice, by focusing on identifying and leveraging clients’ existing strengths, resources, and capabilities. I try to encourage clients to reflect on past successes and skills they’ve used to overcome challenges by using collaborative goal-setting to empower clients in creating solutions and building resilience. Using reframing as a challenge opportunity for growth, highlighting my clients inner potential and unique abilities. All while maintaining a positive and supportive approach, fostering self-efficacy and confidence throughout the therapeutic process.
