Hello, I'm Jasmine Price, a psychotherapist with a Master of Science degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. My work is grounded in a person-centered approach, where I create a safe, supportive space for my clients to explore their goals and challenges. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Brainspotting, and my sessions are both gentle and patient while also providing direct, solution-focused guidance. I have experience working with clients across all age groups and a wide range of symptoms and psychological disorders. Together, we’ll navigate your path toward becoming the best, healthiest version of yourself, always at a pace that honors your unique journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I will help guide you with understanding effective skills to use with goal setting. We will create your treatment plan based on your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a deep ability to understand and share in my clients' emotions. My empathy allows me to create a space where clients feel heard, validated, and safe to explore their feelings without judgment.I focus on truly hearing my clients, not just their words but the underlying emotions and non-verbal cues. By actively listening, I’m able to connect on a deeper level and pick up on important details that might otherwise go unnoticed.I recognize that change takes time, and I’m patient with my clients as they work through their issues. I’m there to support them through setbacks and challenges, helping them make lasting progress at their own pace.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I provide clients with DBT skills that have issues with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness.

Brainspotting

I am a trained brainspotter. It focuses on processing trauma, emotional pain, and other psychological issues by tapping into the brain's deeper resources for healing. While it shares some elements with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting works more directly with the body-brain connection.
