New to Grow
I am an empowerment focused, solutions driven, open space to explore the roadblocks and opportunities before you. I have been practicing clinically, both in medical settings such as University of Penn and private practice, and am an award winning alumni of Florida State University and University of Maryland specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and strengths perspective.
You’re likely someone who looks like they have it all together—but underneath, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. You may be navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, family conflict, or feeling lost in your career. You want clarity, peace, and a sense of control over your life again. You’re ready to understand what’s been weighing you down and learn how to move forward, not by being “fixed,” but by reconnecting with your purpose, values, and strength. I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders, grief and bereavement, career challenges, and family systems. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients define what matters most and build profound change from the inside out. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I believe you already have the tools to heal—I’m here to help you find and use them, while offering guidance and support every step of the way You don’t have to keep pretending everything’s fine. Whether you’re grieving, burned out, anxious, or just feeling off, therapy can help you reconnect with who you are and where you’re going. I’d be honored to walk with you on that path. When you’re ready, I’m here! What if the path forward wasn’t about fixing yourself, but discovering what’s already there?
My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to meet people where they are—whether they’re navigating burnout, anxiety, grief, or simply feeling stuck despite appearing successful on the outside. My work is shaped by both professional experience and personal perspective. I began my career in grief work, suicide prevention, and education, which gave me a deep understanding of how complex and personal the therapeutic process can be. That foundation continues to influence how I show up today—with respect for each person’s story and the pace at which real change happens. Over time, I’ve also worked in executive leadership within high-pressure healthcare environments. This has given me a strong understanding of what it feels like to carry responsibility, manage stress, and operate in spaces where you’re expected to hold it all together. I bring that perspective into my work with clients, especially those who are used to being the dependable one for others. My approach is both relational and practical. I create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood, while also helping them develop clear, actionable ways to manage anxiety, reduce overthinking, and move forward with more clarity and confidence. I integrate approaches like ACT and CBT, but always in a way that feels grounded and applicable to real life. Clients often share that they appreciate having a therapist who is both supportive and direct—someone who can sit with them in difficult moments, but also help them take meaningful steps forward. That balance is something I value deeply in my work.
