Hello there! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). My approach is rooted in curiosity, kindness, and compassion, aiming to create a nurturing environment where you can openly express yourself. My ultimate aim is to equip clients with practical, yet powerful skills and tools that empower them to live life with confidence, peace and trust. I offer a holistic, personalized approach that embraces body, mind, and spirit. I am certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, working with ketamine (KAP). I offer preparation and integration sessions for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. I am not a traditional talk therapist. I believe sharing our story is an essential part of the healing journey. We long to be seen, heard, and witnessed in our stories and if we want long-lasting change and transformation, we must be willing, ready, and feel safe to transform our cognitive narratives through feeling in the body.
In our first session, we will identify the challenges holding you back and discuss your goals for our work together. I customize my approach to suit your unique needs, emphasizing strategies to improve interpersonal relationships, cultivate relaxation, establish boundaries, and prioritize self-care. For individuals dealing with trauma and PTSD, I place significant trust in EMDR. EMDR has demonstrated remarkable efficacy in alleviating distress, reframing negative beliefs, & bolstering emotional resilience. One of the key aspects of EMDR is its focus on bilateral stimulation, which can involve various methods such as eye movements, taps, or sounds. This bilateral stimulation is believed to facilitate the processing of distressing memories and experiences. Through a structured protocol, EMDR helps individuals reprocess traumatic memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge and promotes adaptive resolution.

My journey with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has been deeply rewarding both personally and professionally. Integrating EMDR into my practice has provided a powerful, evidence-based approach to help clients process trauma, reduce distress, and foster resilience. One of the most impactful aspects of EMDR is its ability to promote deep emotional healing through bilateral stimulation—guiding clients to safely process painful memories and shift limiting beliefs. I’ve seen firsthand how EMDR can lead to significant relief and meaningful transformation. Rooted in the belief that the mind can heal when supported properly, EMDR aligns closely with my therapeutic approach. It has proven effective not only for PTSD, but also for anxiety, depression, phobias, and complex trauma, making it a flexible and invaluable tool in my work. Witnessing clients reclaim their strength and move toward healing continues to inspire me. While the work requires ongoing training and reflection, the results—empowerment, insight, and growth—make it profoundly worthwhile.
Integrating Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT) into my clinical practice has profoundly shaped the way I understand and support human development, emotional healing, and relationships. Grounded in the principles of attachment theory, ABT offers a powerful, research-informed framework for exploring how early relational experiences influence emotional well-being and interpersonal patterns throughout life. ABT emphasizes the importance of secure attachment as the foundation for psychological resilience. By helping clients explore their attachment histories and relationship dynamics, I can more effectively address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. This approach is especially valuable in individual and couples therapy, where fostering secure emotional bonds is key to lasting change. The therapeutic relationship in ABT plays a central role in healing. Through empathic attunement, validation, and consistent support, I strive to create a safe, trusting space where clients feel seen and heard. This secure therapeutic alliance becomes a foundation for exploring emotional wounds, challenging unhelpful relational patterns, and building healthier ways of connecting with others. Attachment-Based Therapy includes a range of evidence-based interventions, from emotion-focused techniques to experiential and relational exercises. These tools help clients strengthen self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and form more secure, fulfilling relationships. My work with ABT has not only enhanced my clinical effectiveness but also deepened my personal understanding of attachment and relational health. Committing to ongoing training and self-reflection, I remain dedicated to using this approach ethically and compassionately to support meaningful, lasting transformation. Ultimately, Attachment-Based Therapy has enriched my ability to help clients heal from the inside out—repairing old wounds, nurturing resilience, and building the capacity for deeper, more authentic relationships.
My work with Mindfulness and Hakomi Mindfulness centers on the transformative power of present-moment awareness and acceptance to support psychological healing and well-being. Rooted in evidence-based mindfulness practices, MBT helps clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. MBT empowers clients to observe thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations with curiosity and nonjudgmental awareness. This fosters emotional flexibility and reduces reactive patterns, enabling more intentional responses to life’s challenges. By cultivating present-moment awareness through meditation, body scans, and mindful movement, clients reduce rumination, anxiety, and distress. MBT also encourages self-compassion, helping clients heal emotional wounds and build inner peace. Combining mindfulness with somatic techniques, I support clients in reconnecting with their bodies, releasing tension, and restoring balance. Personally, mindfulness practice has enhanced my presence and compassion, enriching both my therapy and my life. Through ongoing training and reflection, I remain committed to delivering MBT with integrity and effectiveness, witnessing profound healing and growth in my clients.
Integrating Somatic Experiencing (SE) into my therapeutic practice has profoundly transformed my understanding of trauma and the body’s innate capacity to heal. Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, SE offers a holistic, body-centered approach to trauma resolution, emphasizing the wisdom held within the nervous system. A key strength of SE is its focus on renegotiating trauma stored as somatic sensations, tension, and nervous system dysregulation—beyond traditional talk therapy’s cognitive focus. Using techniques like titration and pendulation, clients gently access and release traumatic activation in manageable steps, restoring safety and regulation in the body. SE also addresses incomplete defensive responses that perpetuate trauma symptoms, guiding clients to safely complete these responses and discharge trapped survival energy. This process fosters greater integration, resilience, and wholeness. Incorporating SE has deepened my appreciation of the mind-body connection and the physical manifestations of trauma. Through somatic awareness and self-regulation skills, I help clients reconnect with their bodies to better manage triggers and stress. On a personal level, practicing SE techniques has enhanced my own embodiment, presence, and empathy—enriching my ability to attune to clients’ experiences. While SE requires ongoing training and self-reflection, the profound shifts I witness in clients’ healing journeys reaffirm my commitment to this transformative modality. Ultimately, Somatic Experiencing has expanded my therapeutic toolkit and empowered me to support clients in reclaiming agency, healing trauma, and cultivating resilience.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based therapy that helps clients understand and heal the complex inner world of their mind. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS views the psyche as made up of multiple “parts,” each holding unique emotions, beliefs, and roles that influence thoughts and behaviors. These parts often fall into three categories: exiles (wounded parts holding pain), managers (protective parts that try to keep the system safe), and firefighters (parts that react impulsively to overwhelm). IFS provides a compassionate framework to explore these internal dynamics, helping clients build a trusting relationship with their parts rather than suppress or ignore them. At the core of IFS is the Self—a calm, curious, and compassionate inner leader capable of healing and uniting these disparate parts. By accessing the Self, clients learn to lead their internal system with clarity and kindness, resolving internal conflicts and reducing symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. IFS empowers clients to release burdens and healing stuck emotions, leading to greater emotional balance, self-acceptance, and authentic connection with themselves and others. This approach is highly adaptable and can be integrated with other therapeutic modalities to support holistic healing. In my practice, I use IFS to help clients cultivate self-awareness, foster inner harmony, and embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and transformation.
