As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring a wealth of experience in the child welfare and nonprofit sectors, particularly in foster care and adoption. I specialize in providing compassionate support to individuals and families, utilizing techniques grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care. My commitment is to empower clients by fostering resilience and facilitating healing through individualized approaches tailored to their unique experiences and needs. I am excited to return to independent practice, where I can continue to make a positive impact in people's lives.
In our first session, we'll begin with a warm introduction to get to know each other. Following that, I will create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly discuss the challenges you're experiencing and your identified needs. This conversation will serve as the cornerstone for our future sessions and the collaborative journey we'll undertake together.
Building on my extensive experience as a licensed clinical social worker in the child welfare and nonprofit sectors, my greatest strength lies in creating a warm, empathetic environment where clients feel safe and understood. I utilize a holistic approach that integrates techniques rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, allowing me to tailor our sessions to your specific needs and goals. I am dedicated to fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship, encouraging personal growth and self-discovery. Clients I’ve worked with report improvements in their mindset and behaviors, which promotes emotional well-being and resilience. By combining active listening with effective strategies, I guide you toward sustainable solutions that address immediate challenges while also supporting long-term healing and happiness. I am passionate about making a positive impact in your life and am excited to partner with you on this journey.
We all experience moments when we feel low or off balance, and that's completely normal. However, it becomes a concern when these feelings become overwhelming, causing us to withdraw from the activities and people that bring us joy. If this resonates with you, I encourage you to book a session with me. Together, we can work towards rediscovering your path to happiness. I am passionate about supporting individuals and families in finding their way back to their 'Happy Place'.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a practitioner I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thought patterns impact their emotional responses and behaviors. This self awareness becomes the foundation of our work and actively engages the clients in their treatment. This method not only helps clients gain insight to their challenges, but equips them with practical skills to effectively manage them. My experience with CBT is that it fosters lasting resilience and overall wellbeing.
Family Therapy
I utilize family therapy to create a supportive environment where all family members can develop healthier relationships with one another, improve functioning as a unit and enhance emotional well being. I have worked with different family dynamics and employ a variety of interventions tailored to the families needs. Using a systematic approach, I guide families to explore their dynamics, identify patterns, and set collaborative goals with a shared accountability. Families are empowered to leverage their strengths and navigate challenges together, thereby promoting healthier and stronger bonds that is sustainable beyond our sessions.

At the session of divorce, care, I decided that I can use more therapeutic help versus just listening to a lot of problems. Kichelle allows me to express myself and come up with solutions that I probably already know, but she confirmed a lot of things and easy to talk with about thoughts I have not shared with anyone. Kichelle leads with good advice and direction.
