I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice with over 10 years of professional experience working across a variety of settings. Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? As a therapist specializing in women's and maternal mental health as well as addictions, I understand the unique pressures and complexities you face. I offer a compassionate and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with trauma-informed care to help you develop the tools and resilience needed to overcome obstacles and build a fulfilling life. Whether you're navigating motherhood, career challenges, or personal growth, I am committed to helping you find healing, balance, and empowerment. A native of Georgia, I have a BBA in Marketing from Georgia Southern University and a Masters in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I have lived in South Georgia my entire life. I am a spouse and mother of 3 children and 1 dog.
In our first session we will review your intake questionnaire together for elaboration and additional detail that may have been left out. We will explore your personal goals and discuss creating a treatment plan that's right for you. A big part of the first session is getting to know each other and making sure we are the right fit for one another.
With additional training and education in perinatal mental health, I can help you through one of the most difficult adjustments in life- pregnancy, preparing for and embracing life with a newborn. In addition, I can assist with traumatic births, miscarriages and unplanned pregnancies. Whether you have a substance use disorder that is greatly impacting your life or you just want to decrease a habit due to health concerns, I can help you along the way to reducing dependence on substances including alcohol, prescription medication, smoking and other addictions. *I do not specialize in porn, gambling or sex addiction*
I work best with Women and anyone struggling with Alcohol/Drug addictions

I use MI to help clients better succeed in their behavioral goals by taking a deeper dive into motivation and exploring benefits of setting and meeting their goals.
As a therapist I strive to help clients identify and achieve personal goals. During most sessions I will be actively guiding you through finding solutions to your problems.

Kasey was so warm and easy to talk to! She was very knowledgeable and had a way of making me feel comfortable enough to open up.

My mom had chose Ms.Griner for me but after our first session, I felt like so much weight had been lifted off of me. And it’s been consistent after that. She doesn’t make me feel like I’m too much and she actually makes me think about some of the decisions I make.

I loved how she was able to really understand what I needed with the explanations I gave because i know sometimes I don’t make sense in explaining certain things. Also, she makes me laugh and I liked that. Laughing is good!
