Hi, I'm Krystal. Overwhelmed by life? Anxious, depressed, or having difficulty in relationships? Worried about your relationship with food, body image, or self-esteem? If you are 14 or older, and are struggling with disordered eating, anxiety, depression, relationships, or life transitions, I may be the therapist for you. I know how difficult choosing a therapist and starting therapy can be, and I am excited that you have come this far. If you think I may be a good fit for you, please reach out. I look forward to talking with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will spend some time getting to know each other. We will talk about your history, your goals for therapy, and a plan for our work together moving forward. I want to make sure that we both have all of the information we need to get us started down the right path in our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that all people have the opportunity to learn and grow and deserve the opportunity to receive quality mental health services. I am a feminist and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. I am also versed in Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and Body Acceptance. I believe that there is healing in humor but will also hold you accountable to not hide behind it.

My treatment methods

I believe therapy is too personal to limit our work together to any one approach. Because of this, I use several different evidence-based modalities as tools to help you in whatever way fits best. These include but are not limited to: CBT, DBT, Motivational Enhancement, and Interpersonal Therapy.
