New to Grow
Greetings! You can call me Ronke, I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am well versed in assessing and diagnosing various mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, depression, bipolar, and other mood disorders. I enjoy music, traveling, reading, and cooking. I look forward to meeting you on your journey to wellness.
I combine evidence-based treatment and the individual's specific needs to create the best plan of care for each client.
Motivational Interviewing
I have extensive experience using Motivational Interviewing to help patients explore ambivalence, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and move toward meaningful behavior change. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered—I focus on open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations to support autonomy while gently guiding patients toward insight and readiness for change.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a Solution-Focused approach to help patients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build practical steps toward change. Rather than dwelling on problems, I emphasize what’s working, highlight past successes, and support patients in envisioning their preferred future. This method keeps sessions brief, goal-oriented, and empowering.
Supportive
I use a supportive therapy approach to provide a safe, validating space where patients feel heard and understood. I focus on strengthening coping skills, reinforcing existing strengths, offering guidance, and helping patients manage stressors more effectively. This method is grounding, stabilizing, and especially helpful during periods of heightened stress or transitions.
