Hi there. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona. I am able to treat a wide range of issues and also specialize in anxiety, depression. and substance abuse. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which has great results. I just love my position here and am happy to serve adults on the way to their goals. I love to listen and have years of experience.
In our first session we will share our introductions and decide together what needs to happen first. During the first two sessions we will get into your history in as much or little detail as you prefer. I suggest some homework as well which is optional.
My greatest strengths include a fine education backed by over 15 years of clinical experience. I have worked with all manner and kinds of people on their journey forward. My aim is to have "unconditional positive regard" for my clients. I know we all face adversity, myself included, so I have insight into a wide range of life's challenges.
My forte is the ability to relate and work with all ages over 18. I do love to work with the 18-35 year old range. I love working with someone who wants to be heard as well as wanting change and growth.

While it turned out she was not able to treat me, she is setting up a referral with a provider who can. She gave me good input and recommendations for moving forward.

I like how she uses multiple areas of therapy and is able to have difficult conversations in different ways. Also adding suggestions on how to approach people or situations from a different lens. For me personally it is nice to talk to another professional in the field when I feel like I am not doing enough in all areas of my life, Janet will reiterate my accomplishments and make me reflect on what I have done.
