I am a solution-focused holistic clinical practitioner who values creative and experiential approaches to therapy. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional distress by integrating evidence‑based practices with mindfulness, expressive arts, creativity, and nature‑based experiences. My approach is collaborative, non‑judgmental, and geared towards helping clients build practical skills, deepen self‑awareness, and reconnect with their strengths in meaningful ways.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels safe and respectful for you. I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your background, strengths, and challenges, and I’ll also explain how I work and what therapy with me may look like. If it feels appropriate, we may explore a simple mindfulness or grounding exercise, or discuss creative or experiential options that align with your interests.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out most about my work is my holistic, experiential approach combined with evidence‑based practices. I integrate CBT and DBT principles with creative and mindfulness‑based methods—including music, art, film, nature, and present‑moment awareness—to help clients access insight and healing in ways that go beyond traditional talk therapy. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building practical, real‑life skills they can use outside of session. Many clients appreciate that our work is both grounded and flexible, allowing space for creativity, reflection, and skill‑building while honoring each person’s unique lived experience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a holistic clinical practitioner, I am best positioned to work with adults who are seeking more than traditional talk therapy and who value approaches that honor the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and lived experience. I work especially well with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and stress related to life transitions, who may feel disconnected from themselves or overwhelmed by internal and external demands. Many of the people I support are open to creative and experiential ways of healing, particularly when words alone feel limiting. By integrating modalities such as music, art, film, time outdoors, and mindfulness practices, I help clients explore emotions, process meaning, and build self‑awareness in ways that feel natural, engaging, and grounded. These approaches are thoughtfully combined with evidence‑based skills to support emotional regulation, coping, and intentional behavior change.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have primarily used this treatment modality with adults experiencing post‑traumatic stress and impulsivity. I implement core DBT skills—including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—to support behavior change and help individuals develop efficient, practical coping strategies.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Within a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, I utilize this method to challenge unhealthy and distorted thought patterns, supporting cognitive restructuring and promoting healthier emotional and behavioral responses. I’m drawn to CBT because it gives people a clear, practical way to understand how depression and anxiety influence their thoughts. Together, we identify and challenge unhealthy thinking patterns and work toward reshaping cognition in a way that supports emotional balance and confidence.

Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy has been a core therapeutic approach for me personally and professionally. It helps individuals heal and grow through direct experiences and active engagement, rather than relying solely on conversation or analysis. The focus is on doing, feeling, and experiencing—because meaningful change often happens when emotions and insights are accessed in real time, not just talked about intellectually. This approach is especially helpful when clients feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or find that traditional talk therapy doesn’t fully reach what they’re experiencing.
