(she/her)
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in the medical field. Since 2006, I have worked in diverse roles that shaped my holistic approach to care. I provide treatment for children, adolescents, and adults, and have extensive experience supporting individuals with special needs, addiction, anxiety, ADHD, and a wide range of mental health diagnoses. My goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel empowered in their journey toward wellness.
During our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and discuss your goals, concerns, and personal history. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and explain how treatment can be tailored to your needs. This is also your opportunity to share what feels most important to you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and begin building a collaborative plan for your care.
My greatest strengths lie in combining clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. I bring nearly two decades of medical experience to psychiatric care, offering both medication management and psychotherapy tailored to each client’s needs. I excel at making complex topics—like diagnoses, treatment options, and medications—clear and approachable, empowering clients to take an active role in their wellness. My ability to connect with children, adolescents, and adults, including those with special needs, helps me create a safe, collaborative environment where meaningful progress can be achieved.
I work best with children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking compassionate, collaborative support for challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, mood concerns, addiction, and the stress of major life transitions. Many of my clients are navigating overwhelm, managing special needs, or working to build healthier coping skills and emotional balance. I’m especially well‑suited to support individuals who are motivated to grow, open to learning new strategies, and ready to take meaningful steps toward improving their well‑being. Whether someone is looking to strengthen emotional regulation, develop grounding and self‑care routines, or simply feel more stable day‑to‑day, I provide a steady, supportive space to help them move forward with confidence. ****Patients must be able to meet the requirements of the Ryan Haight Act per Florida statues. ****** The Ryan Haight Act is a federal law that regulates how controlled substances (such as ADHD medications, anxiety medications, and certain sleep medications) can be prescribed through telehealth. Why this law exists The law was created to make sure controlled medications are prescribed safely and only after a licensed medical provider has evaluated the patient appropriately. What it requires Under the Ryan Haight Act, a provider must complete one in‑person medical evaluation before prescribing a controlled substance through telemedicine.
