I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel understood while also building practical skills for real-life situations. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you gain clarity, manage emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll move at your pace. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals and discuss a plan that feels supportive and realistic for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance empathy with practical, skill-based support. I create a space where clients feel heard and understood, while also helping them build tools they can use outside of session. I focus on making therapy feel approachable and actionable, so clients leave with a clearer understanding of themselves and concrete strategies to manage challenges and move forward.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients feel stuck or unsure of their next steps, and are looking for ways to better manage intense emotions. I help individuals build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, values-driven change. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you apply what you learn in real-life situations.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and increasing distress tolerance. In my practice, I integrate DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness in a way that feels approachable and relevant to each client’s daily life. I focus on helping clients not only understand these skills, but actively apply them in real-world situations.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions. Rather than trying to eliminate distress, ACT focuses on increasing psychological flexibility, learning how to accept what is outside of our control while committing to actions that align with personal values. In my practice, I use techniques such as cognitive defusion, mindfulness, and values clarification to support meaningful, sustainable change.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behaviors. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to build awareness of these patterns and develop more balanced, effective ways of thinking and responding. I focus on practical strategies and skill-building that clients can apply in their daily lives to support lasting change.
