New to Grow
I’m a 30 yr old who loves staying active...whether that’s going on runs, getting outside for hikes, or spending time at home with my cat. I love to be someone who can motivate others and serve as a strong, steady anchor during difficult times. I bring that same grounded, real-life energy into my work, creating a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and easy to show up in. Through my own life experiences, I’ve learned how to cope with challenging transitions and navigate relationship struggles, which allows me to show up in a genuine and grounded way with my clients. I’m passionate about helping young women navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and relationship struggles. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start, just showing up is enough. Together, we focus on building self-worth, setting healthy boundaries, and helping you feel more confident, grounded, and aligned in your life and relationships.
In your first session with me, you can expect a relaxed, supportive space where there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. We’ll start by getting to know each other, talking about what’s been going on for you, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, but you’re always in control of what and how much you share. We’ll also talk about your goals and what you’d like to feel different in your life. I’ll explain how I work and begin to introduce tools or perspectives that may start to feel helpful right away. Most importantly, my focus is on helping you feel comfortable, understood, and supported; this is your space, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
I bring between energy and calm. I show up with a grounded, steady presence while also bringing optimism, enthusiasm, and genuine belief in your ability to grow. I’m naturally someone who can hold space in a patient, meditative, and calming way, while also helping you feel motivated, supported, and not alone in what you’re going through. I take a realistic, compassionate approach, meaning I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, while also helping you build practical coping skills that actually work in your day-to-day life. Clients often experience me as kind, down-to-earth, and insightful, offering perspectives that feel both validating and enlightening. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, increase your self-awareness, and walk away from sessions feeling a little lighter, more grounded, and more connected to yourself.
I love working with young women who want things to feel different—even if you don’t feel motivated, confident, or “ready” yet. You might be dealing with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break. Maybe you find yourself overthinking everything, people-pleasing, struggling with your sense of self-worth, or repeating relationship patterns that leave you feeling drained or not enough—and that’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. We move at your pace. I create a space where you can feel supported, understood, and not judged, especially on the days that feel heavy. We focus on building self-trust, increasing your self-worth, setting healthier boundaries, and creating more fulfilling relationships. You don’t need to show up perfectly—just showing up is enough, and we’ll figure the rest out together.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have experience using this to help clients develop psychological flexibility and build a values-driven life. In my practice, I support clients in learning to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoid them, while identifying what truly matters to them. I incorporate techniques such as mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and values clarification to help clients reduce the impact of unhelpful thoughts and increase intentional, meaningful action. This approach supports clients in creating lasting change while staying grounded in their personal values.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience utilizing this to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. I work collaboratively with clients to increase awareness of the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while teaching practical skills to reframe negative thinking and develop healthier coping strategies. I incorporate structured interventions such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and skill-building exercises to support clients in reducing symptoms and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Compassion Focused
I have experience using this to help clients develop a more supportive and nonjudgmental relationship with themselves. I incorporate strategies that build self-compassion, reduce shame and self-criticism, and increase emotional safety. I guide clients in understanding how their threat, drive, and soothing systems interact, while teaching skills such as compassionate self-talk, grounding, and imagery. This approach supports clients in regulating difficult emotions, fostering self-acceptance, and creating a foundation for lasting emotional healing.
Motivational Interviewing
I have experience using this to support clients in exploring ambivalence and strengthening their intrinsic motivation for change. I take a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach, using open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations to help clients identify their values, goals, and reasons for change. I focus on meeting clients where they are, enhancing their sense of autonomy, and guiding them toward increased insight and commitment to meaningful behavioral changes.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have experience using this to support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I integrate DBT by helping clients identify and understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while teaching practical, skills-based strategies they can apply in real-life situations. I often tailor DBT interventions to each client’s unique needs, incorporating validation, behavioral strategies, and skill-building to promote balance, increase coping capacity, and support meaningful, sustainable change.
