Seeking therapy can feel so scary, it takes so much courage and strength to step out of your comfort zone. My job is to be on the passenger side of your therapy journey, helping you find the answers within, and giving you tools to support you along the way.
First session
Clients can book a free 10-15 minute consultation call to see if we are a fit. Feel free to schedule your intake appointment, and message me so we can collaborate on a day/time that works best. In our first session together, I gather history of symptoms, previous mental health treatment, support systems, cultural and family history, etc. I engage in Rapport building, which is very important to me and collaborate with you to create treatment goals.
Strengths
I am open minded, empathetic, compassionate, and have a non judgemental approach to care. I can help you find the root of your problems and dive deep to support you with finding the answers within. I like to challenge my clients, but utilizing a gentle approach. I am certified in mindfulness practices and I lean into a holistic/spiritual lens to mental health Care.
Ideal clients
I work best with clients who are ready to grow and be real with themselves, even if it’s uncomfortable. I support women (especially Black women and women of color), LGBTQIA+ individuals, empaths/healers, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD,burnout, relationship stress, peer relationships, racism, attachment wounds, and life transitions. If you’re used to pouring into others and are now learning how to choose yourself, set boundaries, and build self-trust, we’ll work well together
