New to Grow
Hi, I’m Lisa, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Attachment Coach with over 15 years of clinical experience. I specialize in anxiety, depression, attachment styles, relationship/ dating issues, family conflict, postpartum and grief & loss. My work is rooted in helping people to better understand their patterns of behavior, building emotional security and creating healthier relationships with themselves and others. I offer telehealth appointments for clients ages 18 and older who live in Florida. I also offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation for prospective clients.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable and it’s completely normal to feel nervous before your first session. The intake session is simply a conversation where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, the challenges you’re facing and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to open up about everything right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling more comfortable, hopeful and supported.
I bring a compassionate, empathetic and down to earth approach to my work, creating a space where clients can show up exactly as they are. I’m naturally easy to talk to and prioritize building a genuine connection with each person I work with. With years of experience as a therapist, I’ve developed a strong therapeutic skill set that allows me to support clients through a variety of emotional and relational challenges while helping them feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout the process.
I work with adults ages 18 and older who are navigating life’s emotional challenges and looking for support, healing and personal growth. My ideal clients are individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment/ relationship issues, family conflict and difficulties managing life transitions. I also specialize in supporting women experiencing postpartum challenges, including postpartum anxiety, depression, identity changes and the emotional adjustment to motherhood. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected in relationships or weighed down by past experiences and current stressors. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives. Through therapy, I help clients build healthier coping skills, improve relationships, process difficult emotions, strengthen self-awareness and move toward greater emotional well-being and balance.
