New to Grow
I am a compassionate and approachable Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over seven years of experience helping women heal, grow, and thrive. I am passionate about supporting clients as they build resilience from trauma, overcome self-doubt, and develop a deeper sense of self-worth and confidence. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experiences with trauma, relationship challenges, and self-esteem struggles, I strive to create a genuine and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. By integrating evidence-based practices with authentic connection, I help clients navigate obstacles, foster healing, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. My practice is firmly rooted in my Christian faith and guided by the values of compassion, accountability, and vulnerability. Traditional counseling is also available to those who do not prefer Christian/faith based therapy. I believe healing occurs within a safe and supportive relationship, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue restoration, growth, and the life they were created to live.
During our first session, you can expect to learn more about confidentiality and the safe, supportive environment I strive to create within our therapeutic relationship. I will ask open-ended questions to gain a better understanding of what has brought you to therapy and the goals you hope to achieve. I will also share more about myself, my therapeutic approach, and what you can expect from our work together. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. You can expect genuine care and concern for the challenges that have led you to seek therapy, along with a touch of humor along the way—because laughter can be a powerful part of healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered as you begin your journey toward growth and healing.
My therapeutic approach stands out because I address challenges directly and work collaboratively with clients to identify practical solutions early in the counseling process. I believe meaningful change happens through both insight and action, and I strive to help clients move forward with clarity and purpose. While I am warm, compassionate, and supportive, I am also honest and straightforward. I gently challenge clients when their actions do not align with their goals or values. For example, if a client desires healthier boundaries but continues to allow others to take advantage of them, we will explore those patterns together and work toward making meaningful changes. My goal is to provide both encouragement and accountability, creating a space where clients feel supported while also being empowered to grow.
My ideal clients are women seeking healing from past trauma and desiring freedom from self-doubt and limiting beliefs about themselves and their abilities. They may struggle with disordered eating, body image concerns, shame, and comparison, often feeling stuck in patterns that impact their self-worth and overall well-being. These women are motivated to develop healthier coping strategies, break free from unhealthy relationship patterns, and heal from past relational wounds. They desire to build strong foundations for healthy, fulfilling relationships in which they can thrive. They are committed to personal growth, reaching their full potential, and identifying the barriers that have prevented them from living the life they desire.
