I have worked with children, adolescents, families and adults for over 20 years who were experiencing struggles related to trauma, family of origin, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and anger. Each session, you will leave with specific tools to help you grow in between sessions.
I primarily use cognitive behavior therapy techniques and empower my clients with the skills to improve their life. I enjoy working with people of all ages to give them the tools and to support them along their journey. I have a real world, pragmatic approach to working with my clients focusing on making steady improvements.
My biggest strength as a therapist is the ability to connect with my clients. I create a safe space for my clients to be vulnerable in talking about painful emotions and memories they experience. I gently address patterns of self sabotaging behavior that appear in relationships and at work. We develop together a realistic, practical action plan with incremental steps to achieve their goals.
