About me

As a working-class Latina and licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years of experience, I provide an empowering, affirming, and highly personalized approach to therapy and assessment. Grounded in values-focused behavioral interventions, my practice centers neurodivergent women, gender diverse people, and people of the global majority—especially autistic and ADHD-identified individuals—as they navigate life transitions, identity shifts, burnout, grief, and profound personal transformation with resilience and authenticity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I specialize in working with high-masking, late-identified, or multiply marginalized neurodivergent women and nonbinary individuals of color. Many of my clients are highly intelligent, intuitive, and deeply reflective—yet may have felt overlooked, pathologized, or misunderstood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a anti-fascist, justice-oriented clinician who invites conversations about how the world outside the therapy space impacts all of our external and internal lives. My curiosity, experience, and affinity with my clients assists in both understanding where they come from while advancing their growth through a combination of educational experience, life experience, and clinical practice experience. My clinical training has included extensive experience working with adults in commmunity-based, private practice, and hospital settings. As a late-diagnosed autistic Xicana/Latina, I bring my lived experience and extensive professional knowledge to adapt therapeutic techniques and practice to meet the needs of my amazing neurodivergent clients. In my spare time, I thrive on reading, travel, seeing live music, nerding out on obscure films, long walks through my beautiful Bay Area home, and spending time with my friends and rescue dogs.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps people create meaningful lives while handling life’s challenges more effectively. Instead of struggling to eliminate difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches skills to accept them, become more present in the moment, and take actions guided by personal values and meaning. The focus is not on “getting rid of” pain but on learning how to live fully in a difficult world.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy is a collaborative approach that explores how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns influence how you feel and act today. By bringing greater awareness to these patterns, you can gain deeper understanding of yourself, improve relationships, and create lasting emotional change. The process is supportive and reflective, helping you uncover connections that lead to growth and healing.

Feminist

This approach recognizes how culture, identity, gender, and power dynamics shape your experiences and relationships. Together we explore these influences in a supportive, collaborative way, helping you build self-understanding, empowerment, and more authentic connections.
