My focus is on relationships, including our relationship with our self. We know that the quality of our lives are firmly tied to the quality of our relationships and we also know that our relationships with others is dependent on the quality of our relationship with our self.
While I value what client's think and feel, therapy is more than just letting client's vent.
Good therapy helps us to improve these relationships so that we can enjoy our lives to the fullest. This can mean learning to manage our mental health and emotional symptoms as well as treating their origins from our past.
First session
Clients can expect to get a picture of what therapy with me will look like and will hopefully leave with a new hope for their lives and relationships.

Ideal clients
I focus on working through trauma which often manifests as depression, anxiety and relational discord. I also focus on working through grief and strategies for improving our relationships.

Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma (painful past learning) can have a tremendous impact on our lives and relationships. I teach clients both management skills (those which can be learned and implemented quickly) as well as insight based treatments (those which are designed to lead to insights/root causes) so that the client can benefit both immediately and in the longer term.
Grief Therapy
We all suffer grief and loss in our lives. Helping people process through loss and reach a place of peace is a passion of mine. I utilize a combination of several modalities, depending on the client, to guide clients through one of the most difficult and painful experiences that we can encounter.
