Thanks for checking out my counseling profile! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Georgia. I received my Masters from Argosy University and have been practicing for 18 years. I offer a therapy format to best serve my clients that is specific to their needs. My past clients might describe me as "down to earth" and offering a safe space to share their feelings in a no-judgment manner. Every human has an emotional struggle sometime in their life. Mostly, I am a person of faith who believes that people can find hope in a hopeless world!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be a time to explain the nature of the person's emotional concerns and to begin to establish a rapport with them. I also explain the therapy process and answer any questions that the client may have about what to expect from the therapy process. I will also decide if I am the right therapist for the client's needs. I don't have a "magic wand" that automatically takes away their emotional concerns but it takes work on the side of the client to reach their emotional needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Mostly, I love to help others during their time of need. I am experienced in a wide variety of behavioral health needs. Grief and loss, anxiety and depression, family and couples treatment, and adoption and foster care are a sample of my experience in professional counseling.
