What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect a warm, supportive environment that prioritizes safety and trust. My goal is to empower clients to identify their strengths and build resilience while developing effective coping strategies. We will focus on setting achievable goals, such as improving emotional regulation, enhancing communication skills, or fostering healthier relationships. My clients leave with practical tools and insights that promote personal growth and well-being, equipping them for life beyond therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a naturally open, friendly, and curious nature; this has helped me build a good rapport quickly w/ clients, as well as accepting clients as they are and where they are at, to help you identify and focus on your own abilities, strengths, and resources that will help you get to where you want to be in the future.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a person-centered therapist I help clients explore their own issues in a non-judgmental and empathic manner, providing individuals with "unconditional positive regard", accepting and valuing clients as they are. With the understanding that “you are the expert on yourself”, that no-one knows exactly what it's like to be you, I can help clients discover their own strengths and abilities, as well as what resources and supports are available to them to work through issues, build self-confidence, and become more self-aware.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have found CBT to be very useful as a goal-oriented modality for short-term treatment (usually 6-20 sessions) in helping clients identify unhelpful thought and/or behavioral patterns that are causing or contributing to distress. We can use CBT to address a range of psychological concerns including: general anxiety and anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, irrational fears or phobias, and concerns with interpersonal relationships.
