Welcome—I'm glad you're here. I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, balance, and confidence. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and current challenges to better understand your experience. There is no pressure to share everything at once—you can move at your own pace. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to outline a plan for our work together and ensure you feel supported, heard, and clear on next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood while also guiding them toward meaningful, lasting change. I balance warmth and empathy with a structured, goal-oriented approach, helping clients move beyond insight into action. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. This integrative approach allows me to support clients in building practical coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and developing a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to growth, self-reflection, and making meaningful changes in their life, even if they feel unsure where to begin. They may be experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, or navigating a major life transition. I work well with individuals and couples who are willing to explore their thoughts and emotions in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. Together, we focus on building practical skills, improving communication, and increasing self-awareness to help create lasting, positive change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. In our work together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges, and gently challenge unhelpful thinking so it becomes more balanced and realistic. I also focus on practical strategies—helping you build skills and take small, meaningful steps toward change—so you can feel more confident managing life’s challenges both in and outside of sessions.

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves—especially when they struggle with self-criticism, shame, or feelings of inadequacy. Together, we explore how your mind has been shaped by past experiences and learn practical tools to regulate emotions, soothe distress, and build a sense of inner safety. Through guided exercises and compassionate reflection, I support you in strengthening self-compassion so you can respond to life’s challenges with greater resilience, confidence, and emotional balance.

Biofeedback

In my practice, I incorporate biofeedback to help clients better understand the connection between their mind and body. Using gentle, non-invasive sensors, we track physiological responses such as heart rate, breathing, and muscle tension in real time. This allows clients to see how stress, anxiety, or emotional triggers impact their bodies—and more importantly, learn how to regulate those responses. Over time, biofeedback can empower you with practical skills to reduce anxiety, improve focus, and build a greater sense of control and resilience in your daily life.

Couples Counseling

I provide couples counseling in a supportive, nonjudgmental space where both partners feel heard and understood. In our work together, I help couples improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and deepen emotional connection. Using a blend of evidence-based approaches, I guide partners in identifying patterns that may be keeping them stuck and support them in building healthier ways of relating to one another. My goal is to help couples strengthen their relationship, foster mutual respect, and create a more fulfilling partnership.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and navigating life’s challenges more effectively. Together, we focus on four core areas: mindfulness (staying present), distress tolerance (getting through difficult moments without making things worse), emotion regulation (understanding and balancing emotions), and interpersonal effectiveness (communicating needs and setting boundaries). My approach is supportive and nonjudgmental, helping you find a balance between accepting where you are and making meaningful changes toward the life you want.
