Hi! I hold a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology, and I work to help my clients understand and capitalize on their assets while seeking to improve their weaknesses. I pride myself on meeting people where they are and offering support for their needs. I am proud of my training: I interned at the University of Missouri Health Services and completed a two-year fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I previously was a master's level behavior analyst working in developmental disabilities before returning to school for my PhD.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be your opportunity to tell me everything I should know about you so that I can help guide your individualized treatment program. It's your opportunity to talk while the doctor listens!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My primary strength is listening. I have a lot of education and experience in my field, and I am very motivated to share it to help others, but my priority is to hear what you have to say. You are the expert on yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I provide psychotherapy to adults who may have traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental difficulties (learning disorders, ADHD, autism), mild cognitive impairment or memory problems, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders (Parkinson's), or functional neurological disorders, among other things. I work to help the neurodiverse cope with the friction of a sometimes callous and discriminatory world.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), because it is consistently the treatment that works best. Often, I supplement CBT with other techniques. I am particularly experienced in CBT applications for insomnia and functional neurological disorders.
