I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes everyone deserves happiness, health, and tranquility in their lives. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You’re not alone in this. Change is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. My role is to support and guide you in reconnecting with your strengths while helping you build tools for meaningful, lasting change. I take an integrative, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs. I incorporate trauma-informed care and mind-body awareness to help you better understand how your past experiences may be impacting you today. In our work together, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we balance insight with practical strategies. Whether we are building coping skills, exploring patterns, or focusing on clear, achievable goals, my aim is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and capable of creating the life you want.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to gain while making space for you to share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin working collaboratively to set goals and define what meaningful change looks like for you. I’ll also explain how I work, answer any questions, and ensure you feel comfortable with the process. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction, an initial plan for moving forward, and a supportive space where you feel heard and understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is how I integrate multiple evidence-based modalities while keeping therapy highly personalized and collaborative. I balance insight-oriented work, such as psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches, with practical, skills-based strategies like CBT and solution-focused techniques. This allows clients to not only understand their patterns but also take clear, actionable steps toward change. I also place a strong emphasis on building rapport and creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful work, and I prioritize helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and respected from the start. Another key part of my approach is incorporating the mind-body connection. I help clients understand how their experiences show up not just in their thoughts, but also in their physical and emotional responses, and I integrate somatic techniques to support regulation and healing. I am also a strong proponent of sleep hygiene, recognizing the critical role that quality sleep plays in emotional regulation, mental health, and overall well-being. As a result, clients often leave sessions with both deeper insight and practical tools they can apply in their daily lives. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in their ability to create lasting, meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated for change and open to exploring both insight and practical strategies to improve their well-being. I work best with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or impacted by anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges and who are looking for a supportive, collaborative space to better understand themselves and move forward. I am especially drawn to working with clients who are curious about their patterns and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, whether that involves building coping skills, processing past experiences, or setting clear, achievable goals. My ideal clients value a balanced approach that includes both reflection and action and are open to trying new strategies to create meaningful change. I also work well with clients who appreciate a structured yet flexible approach, where we can focus on strengths, increase self-awareness, and develop tools that can be applied in daily life. Whether clients are seeking short-term, solution-focused work or deeper, longer-term exploration, I aim to meet them where they are and support progress at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to help pts identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behaviors. Together, we practice practical skills like cognitive reframing and behavior change strategies to reduce distress and support more balanced, effective ways of coping.

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help pts explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we increase insight and understanding to support lasting emotional growth, healthier relationships, and more intentional choices.

Integrative

I use an integrative approach that blends evidence-based modalities to meet each pt’s unique needs, drawing from CBT, psychodynamic, and somatic perspectives. Together, we tailor treatment to support insight, build practical coping skills, and promote meaningful, lasting change.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have experience using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support pts in processing trauma in a structured, compassionate, and paced way. In my practice, I incorporate psychoeducation on the mind-body connection and the body’s response to trauma while integrating somatic techniques to help pts regulate their nervous system. Together, we build coping skills, use cognitive reframing to reduce trauma related distress, and strengthen a sense of safety and resilience.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy in my practice to help pts quickly identify their goals and build on existing strengths and successes. Together, we focus on practical, goal-oriented strategies that support small, achievable steps toward meaningful change.
