Hi! I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Ohio. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for over four years. My focus is on providing compassionate support to children, youth, families, young adults, adults, and older adults who are dealing with depression and anxiety. I am dedicated to helping my clients build resilience and develop effective strategies for managing their mental health challenges. Through a collaborative and personalized approach, I aim to guide you toward greater emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life. My goal is to create a safe and empathetic space where we can work together to address your unique needs and achieve meaningful progress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial meetings, we will discuss your goals, gather relevant information, and explore your overall treatment plan. We will also address any safety concerns and review confidentiality to ensure you feel secure and supported. This process will help us develop a comprehensive approach tailored to your needs and set the stage for effective progress in our subsequent sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked as a social worker for over four years, I bring a flexible and adaptable approach to helping you. My strong communication skills, dependability, and willingness to listen and understand your unique situation allow me to be forthcoming and supportive. I am committed to identifying the root causes of your challenges and creating a personalized plan that fosters measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With over four years of experience, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and crisis situations. My work spans Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), schools, community settings, and crisis intervention. I tailor CBT strategies to help clients overcome challenges and achieve emotional resilience.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have utilized Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) methods to help clients build coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and foster healthier relationships, tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Motivational Interviewing

I employ Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about making positive changes. This client-centered approach focuses on enhancing intrinsic motivation and commitment by engaging in empathetic, non-judgmental conversations. Through MI, I support clients in clarifying their goals, addressing barriers, and taking actionable steps toward personal growth and lasting change.

Strength-Based

Incorporating Strength-Based Therapy, I focus on identifying and leveraging your existing strengths and resources to foster resilience and promote positive change. This approach emphasizes your skills, achievements, and personal qualities, helping you build on what you already do well to overcome challenges and achieve your goals. By highlighting and utilizing you're unique strengths, we work together to enhance your confidence and drive toward growth and fulfillment.

Psychoanalytic

I also integrate Psychoanalytic Therapy to explore the deeper, often unconscious factors influencing your thoughts and behaviors. Utilizing this approach to uncover underlying issues and unresolved conflicts that may impact your current emotional well-being. By examining these deeper layers, we aim to gain insight into your internal dynamics and facilitate meaningful change, complementing other therapeutic methods to support your overall mental health journey.
