Lauren Gulla
Hey there! My name is Lauren and I am a licensed mental health counseling (LMHC) in Florida. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Tampa and my Masters of Science from Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been working in the field for about 7 years with about 3 years as a therapist.
I strive to meet each client where they are and ensure they receive the treatment they need, not a cookie cutter approach.

First session
In the first session, we will get to know each other and begin understanding what is bringing you to therapy. Building rapport and safety is essential to the therapeutic process and will continue over several sessions.
Strengths
I have a wide range of experience from working in inpatient hospitals, residential treatment, and now as an outpatient provider. I strive to meet each client where they are and ensure they receive the treatment they need, not a cookie cutter approach.
Ideal clients
I specialize in working with trauma, abuse, and a variety of mood disorders. I also have experience working with the many struggles that accompany these including self harm, eating disorders, and substance abuse.

I utilize ACT to assist clients in building resilience and lead a more fulfilling life.
Narrative
Narrative therapy is one method that can be helpful in processing trauma. I utilize this with clients to understand and heal from various traumatic events.
