I’m Seth Watson, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping you find balance and resilience. I pride myself on offering an easy, stress-free demeanor that makes it simple to talk openly. When it comes to medication management however, I get right down to business. I focus on addressing the problem with strong, evidence-based results, and I will always utilize a collaborative approach to ensure that every decision about your care is one we make together.
The first session will be of course a few questions. But it will also be a lot of me listening. Part of this first time speaking together is going to be correctly identifying the problem. And the other part will be me and the client, together, creating a treatment plan that they are comfortable with.
I have significant experience treating severe mental health challenges, from treatment-resistant depression and anxiety to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I have years of experience managing care for patients of all ages including pediatrics. I have helped patients navigate how to identify and treat ADHD and insomnia. However, I know medication is rarely the whole answer. I treat the whole person, using lab work, evidence-based supplements, and therapy referrals to build a complete plan. I am also a fierce advocate for my clients, and am skilled at handling the red tape of insurance and prior authorizations so you don't have to. Most importantly, I respect you. This means honoring your time (I do not late-cancel appointments) and honoring your story. My office is a judgment-free space where your vulnerability is met with consistent empathy and respect.
I love being able to help clients of all backgrounds. But especially to those clients that have tried treatments for their symptoms in the past, and it didn't work back then, I would hope they would give me one more opportunity to listen to them. Any client who has in a moment of discouragement thought to themself 'I don't know how this needs to change, but I know *something* needs to change' is my ideal client.
Supportive
I use a caring, practical approach where we focus on your current life challenges and strengthen coping skills you may already have. This usually looks like us focusing on the 'right now' to help you reduce stress, feel heard, and restore your confidence in handling day-to-day situations

I cannot say enough good things about Seth. Even in just one appointment, I felt truly heard and never rushed or dismissed. He took the time to understand what I was going through and showed genuine concern. I left that visit feeling supported, and hopeful in a way I hadn’t felt in a long time. I will be using him from now on for all of my mental health medication management. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.
