Embark on a journey to better mental health in our supportive, private sessions. We'll tackle stress, enhance awareness, and boost well-being together. My expertise includes women's issues, career changes, life transitions, grief, and anxiety. We'll explore what brought you to therapy and help you identify the patterns that you want to change. We'll talk about how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience, and then decide the ways to help you make progress.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first therapy session, you can expect a welcoming environment and collaboration. I will share some information and I will ask you to tell me what brought you to therapy. The first few sessions are about authenticity and building rapport since connection is key to a therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience who listens without judgment and gives honest feedback, and I will help you identify the patterns that you want to change. While experience and education are necessary, I believe that my lived experience has profoundly impacted my ability to be an effective therapist. I am authentic, resilient, intelligent, curious, and funny.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients address negative thought patterns and behaviors. Through structured sessions, we challenge irrational beliefs and develop healthier coping strategies. In my practice, I integrate CBT techniques to guide clients in recognizing and modifying harmful thought patterns, fostering positive change and resilience.

Psychodynamic

Exploring how our past influences who we are today, including the choices we make, how we engage in relationships, and our overall perception of ourselves and the world around us.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a therapy intervention that involves the therapist providing their client with information about their diagnosis, symptoms, or the method of treatment used.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed care acknowledges the need to understand life experiences in order to deliver effective care.
