Hi, Do you feel overwhelmed with everyday living? Are you struggling with processing your feelings? Have you been diagnosed with a chronic or life threatening illness? Are you grieving the loss of a loved one or pet? Are alcohol and drugs interfering with your relationships and work? I am an experienced therapist who can help you with these issues and more. In my previous position, I worked with individuals who had a chronic, life threatening illness. Many of these clients experienced anxiety and depression. I offered support by allowing them to process their feelings and develop a working plan of action for care. My hospice background provided me great insight on how to assist others process their grief. I am very active in the recovery community and have counseled others through their journey to recovery. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for clients to share their stories while empowering you to take the lead on your personal goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will build rapport by introduce ourselves, explore your concerns, complete an initial assessment, establish goals, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths include caregiver stress, grief support, anxiety and depression, as well as substance use disorder. I have experience with couple's therapy. I have lived experience in these areas which provides a deeper level of understanding and empathy.
